Production Method Argentium sterling silver 935 stays bright and beautiful for years and it is harder and whiter than normal sterling silver 925. Due to the presence of a rare metallic element called Germanium, Argentium is highly resistant to tarnish. By replacing copper found in regular sterling silver with Germanium, Argentium silver offers long-wearing shine that will stay in pristine condition with the occasional wash with soap and water and rub of a soft cotton cloth.
Please notice, Argentium Sterling silver is tarnish resistant, not tarnish proof. Other jewelry pieces may cause your Argentium jewelry to tarnish. Keep your Argentium separate, it its box or in a bag or a different drawer. And resist using normal sterling cleaning methods, as it can remove the Germanium oxide that builds up and prevents tarnish.
